DIRECTIONS
Take U.S. 101. Exit at Los Carneros Road.
Turn toward the mountains.
Continue approximately 1/2 mile.
Our parking lot is on the right. (We share the lot with the South Coast Railroad Museum and the County Fire Station.
Park in the lot and stroll up the drive to the Visitor Center, Stow House, the Ranchyard, and our beautiful gardens.
Rancho La Patera is part of the Lake Los Carneros Natural and Historical Preserve (City of Goleta). |

Visitors can experience Rancho La Patera by walking through the gardens, taking a guided tour of the Stow House, get an overview in the Visitor Interpretive Center, and enjoy hands-on exhibits in the Cavalletto History Education Center.
Visit Rancho La Patera on Saturdays and Sundays 1:00 - 4:00 pm and by appointment.
Suggested donation for admission is $8 for adults and free admission for supervised children under 12.
Please begin your museum experience by stopping by the Visitor Interpretive Center & Museum Store to purchase admission.
The Ranchyard and Cavalletto History Education Center is now open!

The museums and gardens are also open for guided tours by appointment during the week. We welcome group tours, commercial tours, community groups, youth groups, and school classes.
Our parking lot is accessible to tour busses and RVs.
